The first time that I see the Christine movie I was 14 years old,When I saw this 1958 plymouth red and white I fall in love for the firts time in my life. In my mind it was sure that one day I will owned a 1958 plymouth.
16th years later I started to looked where can I find a 1958 plymouth so I went to the local car club to buy the book to have all the car show in the U.S and Canada this summer.
The president of the car club ask me what kind of car that I'm looking at, I tell him ,I looking for a 1958 plymouth 2 doors , he said that model is very hard to find ,but I know a guy who had a 1957 dodge 2 door post with 45k and I think that he wants to sell its car. I said yeah maybe it's not a 1958 plymouth but if the car is really clean , so I said give me his phone number and I will see . The president of the club said I don't have is phone number but let me try to find it and I will call you.
Two months later ,I received a call from the car club . He gave me the phone number of the guy for the 57 dodge. I call the guy and I ask him do you have a 57 dodge for sale , he said it's not a 57 dodge it's a 58 plymouth plaza 2 doors , you know like the movie Christine , at this time I was shooked. I ask him how many miles does she have and he said 24 k .The week after I bought the car , he give me a envelope with the manual shop original licenses plate ,original key and key fob ,in the envelope I found the sale contract and all the invoice until 1989 .
The first owner sell the car this year.So I'm the 3rd owner but the 2nd who drove it.
In february 2004 I decided to do a makeover on my car . It took 9 months to made the restoration. I decided to painted it red and white so now I have my Christine.
