Hello Christine, and Forward Look owners. My search for Christine started in 1986, when I was five years old. Since I can remember, I have always loved Classic Cars. I first saw the movie Christine when I was five, and like most people fell in love. As I grew up, I had been to every car show that came around. Always looking to see any 1958 Plymouth. I found out at a young age, that these cars were very hard to find. My father told me that the cars rotted out with in two, or three of being new, and in some cases the headlights would fall from the rotted fenders. So because of the low amount of cars known to exist, and being a star in a movie. The odds of me finding a car in decent shape, or for a decent price were bad. As I grew up through my teen age years, I owned many Classic Cars. A 1968 Pontiac Firebird 400HO, 1956 Packard 400, 1968 Cadillac Convetible, 1953 Chevrolet 2 door, and a 1962 Cadillac Converible. when I was 21 years old. I followed my father's foot steps, and became a Police Officer. I sold all the cars I owned, and started my search for Christine. With the help of the internet. I searched day, and night for two years. I found Christine in February of 2005, at Mopar Mel's Fertile MN. I bought Christine right from Mel's Junk Yard, and the restoration was started. I spoke to Mel every day by telaphone, and internet. I explained to Mel, how I wanted her built, step by step. Over the next 8 months, Christine was built into one of the best recreations, I have seen. I ordered her to be one of the closest things to owning a real movie car. From the silver rims, to the interior. From the engine, to the paint. I had her transported by truck to my house in New Jersey, on November 6, 2005. Since then, I added a CD Changer, and custom floor mats. Being a fresh restoration. She really has the smell of a brand new car, and thats just about the finest smell in the world. She only comes out on sunny days, and for shows. I love the car and have had many high offers to sell. If I ever did sell, it would only be for a 58 convertible. The only thing more I can say is, Thanks to Steven King, Virgil Exner, and Plymouth Central, for starting the Christine Car Club.
Thanks for reading my Christine story, enjoy the photos that are posted
